Introducing World Race Day: Today We’re All Racers

Today is 11/11. If you’re part of the Adventures family but aren’t familiar with the World Race, you might not know this:

We are big fans of the number 11 around here. It’s the number of months World Racers spend on the mission field, the number of amazing new countries they get to explore, the number of times God changes their hearts as they fall in love with his people around the world.

Our Racers already love 11/11 – every year they share stories, host fundraising events, and tell people about the incredible things they’re doing on the Race.

But this year we want to invite everyone to be part of World Race Day.

As a member of our Adventures in Missions family – whether you’ve been on a trip with us or not – you are part of what we do. You are part of the big story God is writing with all of us. You are part of bringing his kingdom to the nations. And today we want to celebrate you.

Today everyone is a World Racer. Because the World Race is more than any one of us – it’s made up of all of us.

It takes the parents, family, friends, grandparents, supporters, ministry contacts, fans, cheerleaders, and extended Adventures family to fund, pray for, encourage, and send our Racers to the nations.

Their stories are your stories. They are God’s stories. They are OUR stories.

We invite you to share stories of how you’re a Racer today, and make sure you use the #11n11 hashtag so you can join the big story God is telling.
