Here is Why We Should Have Hope for the Next Generation

We just finished Training Camp with our high school program, Ambassador, and let’s just say we have a LOT of excitement for this next generation! We are always so humbled when students come hang out with us at our headquarters here in north Georgia. They bring such a fire and passion with them and it’s contagious!

Over forty students, ages 14-18, spent a few days in the woods training and diving deep with God to discover how He plans to use them this summer. They left with hearts surrendered to Him and so excited to partner with what He’s doing among the nations.

It’s pretty cool to see this paradigm shift take place and to watch their hearts get set on fire to share the Gospel with people all over the world.

The four teams are heading to the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and Nepal. Below are some pictures of their time at Training Camp. Please be praying that they will shine brightly for Jesus and be His hands and feet in each country!

Here’s our team going to the Dominican Republic:

This powerful team of 11 will serve in kids ministry by leading a vacation Bible school and sports outreach. When they’re not hanging out with the kids, they’ll be cleaning, picking up trash, and helping with construction projects around the church property and community. At night, the team will visit local churches and share messages, testimonies, and songs.

Here’s the crew going to Nepal:

While in Nepal, this team will partner with TAMI Asia (The Agape Mission International).

TAMI works with at-risk children and women and focuses on educating children, empowering women, and equipping and mentoring future leaders. The team will get to minister alongside TAMI through evangelism, teaching English, children’s ministry, relationship building, sports outreach, and prayer!

Since Nepal is 4,000+ feet above sea level, this team left here knowing that physical activity will feel more strenuous and challenging due to the altitude! We know they will adjust just fine and be such a light for Jesus. It’s going to be an awesome journey for them and we can’t wait to hear what God does amongst this group of world changers.

Up next is our team going to Guatemala for 4 weeks!

During their time in Guatemala, this awesome team will get to build relationships with local kids, host vacation Bible school, and have the opportunity to teach English! There are always a lot of different ways to serve in Guatemala, so teams are asked to be flexible and willing to jump in with whatever ministry opportunity is available while they are in-country.

We also have another team of 18 women going to Guatemala for two weeks!

This group of world-changers will be doing a variety of ministry like the group above and it may look like sports outreach, door-to-door outreach, or helping with work projects. They may also get the chance to host a Bible study for policemen and spend time at the local orphanage.

We believe that this generation is going to change the world. God is moving in big ways in and through these young people’s lives and we can’t wait to share the stories that come from these trips. For more information about our Ambassador program, click here.

Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, student or young adult, God has a calling on your life. He sees you and knows you and wants to use you in mighty ways to bring His Kingdom to earth.

If you feel that stirring in your heart for more, keep pressing in. Keep praying about it and if you’re ready to go – let us know! We’d love to help connect you with a ministry that is doing what you know God’s called you in your heart to do!
